About the BMT project
The BMT Project is a musical tribute to the enduring legacy of reggae legend Bob Marley and his iconic band, The Wailers, together with the soulful harmonies of the I-Threes. In this unique international collaboration, over 60 talented musicians and vocalists from around the world — including some original members of The Wailers & I-Threes — come together in celebration.
With deep respect for authenticity, Bob Marley’s timeless songs are re-recorded using original instruments and fully analog recording and mixing techniques. No digital shortcuts — just pure musical craftsmanship, faithful to the spirit and sound of the 1970s. This is not a remake — it’s a tribute. A revival of the message, the power, and the rhythm of an artist who has inspired generations.

Andrew Tosh and David Cairol breathe new life into classic ‘Walk And Don’t Look Back’
In a powerful new rendition of the legendary track Walk And Don’t Look Back, Andrew Tosh and David Cairol join forces to create a heartfelt tribute. The original version, released in 1978, featured Andrew’s father—reggae icon Peter Tosh—alongside Mick Jagger.
What makes this re-recording truly special is its global spirit: more than 60 musicians and vocalists from around the world contributed to the project with passion and dedication.
The production and engineering were masterfully handled by Peter Wezenbeek, the creative force behind the BMT Project. With a shared love for music and the song’s timeless message, this international collaboration stands as a vibrant and respectful homage to a musical legacy.
